Our plans for the trip are:
• Travel/Carpool to Jim Thorpe. Travel time is roughly 2 hours. There is a large public parking lot which is likely a pay for lot near the train station.

•Walk to Pocono Biking located at 7 Hazard Square in Jim Thorpe. It is said to be right across the street from the station. Plan to be there by 9:45 AM.

• We will board their shuttle at 10 AM which will drive us 25 miles upriver. We will ride back down the 2% grade trail and return to the rental shop.

• We will stop along the trail somewhere to enjoy lunch as a group. You are responsible for your own food and drink.

• The entire trip, from when we leave Pocono Biking until we return will be between 2 and 3 hours.

For this trip we are providing an option to ride an E-Bike or a Standard bike. You can bring you own bike and have it transported along with you or you can rent bikes there. While they quote Hourly and daily rates, anything over two hours will be very close to the daily rate.

What you need to do:
• Review the Pocono Biking information and make your reservations and rental arrangements with them by October 1st

• Send an e-mail to jc_hasselman115@hotmail.com you have completed your reservation so we know to look for you on the 11th. Please include the names of the people in your group.

• Bring a lunch and drink in back pack or way to carry them.

• Bring bike related accoutrements you like and want to have with you, including your helmet.

You can rent most stuff if you don’t want to bring yours or if you don’t have one.
• Arrange for your way to and from Jim Thorpe. We hope to be able to share the list of committed participants among the group to facilitate and encourage carpooling.
