Well, folks, in these days of social distancing we may not be ready for the kind of togetherness we had when this photo was taken. However, many of us in the ski club circles have had their COVID vaccinations and to those people Jay and Ellen Minnicks feel comfortable offering their home for a pool party, games, snacks, and dinner as well. Arrive any time after 1:00 but please, no later than 3:00. Bring your own beverages and if possible a chair. Be prepared to float & relax with a drink in your hand while chatting with your friends. Or sit on the edge of the pool and dangle your feet while you watch those playing water volleyball. You could also play bocce/lawn bowls and bags/cornhole. The Minnicks will provide coolers for your drinks and a place to change. They will also provide an afternoon snack at 4:30, and then a ham dinner at 6:00 with baked beans, corn bread, mixed salad, and dessert. This is a BYO event and the food cost is $7.00 per person. Since pool capacity is limited and this is a joint event for both the Main Line Ski Club and the Tiroler Ski Club, attendees should be current members in good standing of one of those clubs. There is capacity for only 38 people, so RSVPs are mandatory. Also, Jay and Ellen are requesting that all attendees have been vaccinated for COVID-19, so please respect their requirement for that measure of protection to attend.
